Is it possible to remove pin from USB plug?

I purchased a fractal define R5 back in April of this year and I'm absolutely loving it so far. One problem I've had with it is that a while ago I accidentally snapped a USB 3.0 header on the motherboard in such a way that it got stuck in the connector that links it to the cases front IO. I don't really mind that the motherboard header is broken since I'm going to be replacing the motherboard anyway however I would like to keep using this case.

I was wondering if it was possible to somehow remove that pin. Failing this is there some way I can replace the plug?

If you know how to do it, then soldering a wire to the pin should work.
