Question Is it possible to remove the clips from one am3+ cpu cooler and put them on another one?

What processor/APU are you trying to cool with the cooler?

an fx 6100. The cooler im trying to put the clips on I recieved along with the proccessor actually, but it lacked the clips so I used another one I had lying around. The one I had however, was a fx 4000 series stock cooler and it easilly reached 6500rpm under moderate use and peaked at 6900rpm (courtesy to hwinfo) so im trying to replace it.
