Is it possible to remove the drive bays from a inwin mana 136?

I have a mana 136 and I want to upgrade to an r9 290 trix but the max leanth of gpu supported in my case is 11.5 inches and the tri-x measures 12.5 inches. Is it possible to remove the drive bays on the inwin mana 136? If not what gpu should I buy(under 430$) that fits in my case.

The case is not designed with removable drive bays. That doesn't mean you can't find a way to butcher it yourself if that is worth it.
