Question Is it possible to replace old laptop internals?

I found a old laptop that was used when I was younger (Dell latitude C400). I love the feel of the keyboard, the small form factor and the look. Is it possible to remove all of the internals and replace it with other parts?

Not really so far as the cpu is concerned. IDK about ram.
But if the one you found still works, you should be able to replace the hard drive with a ssd which will magically transform the performance for daily tasks.

I'm not sure the laptop supports ssd, isn't it too old? And it doesnt use sata but EIDA/ATA-100 connector.

King-spec makes ide ssd devices.

Or, I think there are ide to sata adapter cables.
