Is it possible to replace processor in acer aspireone d255

my acer aspire one d255 notebook's processor is dead.....i understand it is possible to change CPU's for some notebooks can youi please tell if i can do the same with my acer tooo, and how? Thank you for any help you might give me. neyslab@yahoo.co.uk

If so then the answer is to just trash it. You laptop has an Atom CPU and pretty much all Atoms are soldered onto the motherboard meaning they can not be swapped out and changed. The only way to change the CPU is to replace the whole motherboard. By the time you do all that you can just get a new cheap laptop.
