Is it possible to retrieve specs without an OS installed?

I've got a computer I am wanting to list on ebay. I have already run Duke's Boot and Nuke, and plan to install a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro on the machine. Only problem is, I usually would have used Speccy to pull all the hardware specs off for me to use as I advertised it in ebay. The computer currently doesn't have an OS. Is there a way for me to pull any of that information before installing OS? If not, can I pull afterwards, but before a user profile is created? I don't want to create a user profile, but rather let the person buying the computer do so themselves.

Solution
If you open the case, you should be able to determine what the motherboard, Power Supply, and any expansion cards (like a graphics card) are. You do not need to boot into an OS to get into the system BIOS, which should tell you what CPU is installed as well as how much RAM and what hard drive is installed.

Could you install speccy on a USB drive and check from that? Save the info as a .txt file and print it out from that? It would have to be d/l'ed and printed on another computer to avoid leaving trails I suppose. Same could be done for the Registry file, before and after to see if you left any tracks behind....if you are prepared to compare reg files line by line.
Just a thought.
