Is it possible to split an external hard drive into 3 partitions and make all 3 bootable seperately?

I want to split my hard drive into 4 parts, one for storage and I want to make the other 3 bootable seperately (for windows 10 install, etc.) Is it possible to do so? Thanks in advance

You cannot install Windows on to an external hard drive, nor will Windows boot from one.
