Can I switch to the Intel iGPU when I am doing browsing etc and switch back to my GTX1080 when i am gaming ?
When your browsing the GPU is in a idle state, it's not really going to make much of a difference. Also to do what you'd want to do you'd actually have to remove the GPU from the system and connect the monitor to the motherboard. There's probably a higher risk of damaging the GPU taking it out of the system often (chance of dropping or whatnot) then it would to just leave it alone in the system.prolonging the Nvidia card's life ?
