[SOLVED] Is it possible to switch to SSD

Hello, I have been wondering if it was even possible to switch out my extremely loud HDD out for an SSD. If it is, possible how much would it cost and what is the best SSD to switch to for around $60.
Specs if needed
CPU: Intel Pentium G4400
GPU: Power Color RX 460
HDD: 1TB Hitatch 7200RPM

Yes you can switch your HDD for an SSD. But for 60$ you wont be able to get 1TB SSD. Probably around 240-500 GB should be doable with that budget.

I always like to recommend crucial MX or Samsung

It's worth switching to an ssd even if your hdd was perfectly fine. And I agree with the Samsung and crucial recommendations.

An "extremely loud" HDD usually means a bearing is in the process of seizing up, and the drive is on borrowed time. Concentrate on backing up your important data first, then worry about getting a SSD.
