Is it possible to turn a PC on with a gesture

i know it sounds stupid. but could you point at your webcam a certain way to power on your computer?

That requires a lot of work from the camera itself. I don't think it is possible since the camera is always off when pc is off. There is not much camera that run by itself from a separate power output. Plus the camera must have heat vision to know whether is human gestures or some random object.
You can unlock it with voice/password and on some phone with face (don't know about pc) but I don't think you can with gestures yet

Technically something could probably be rigged up to wake the computer from sleep mode with that sort of movement. Probably with the aid of something like Intel Real Sense. When the PC is completely off, however, there wouldn't be any way for it to work. Not unless someone designed a camera that actually plugged into the motherboard power switch slot.
