Hi

I have a dell dimension E510. I would like to upgrade my video card to the x1900 XTX. My motherboard has one PCIe 16x slot. My powersupply is only 305W. Will it be possible to upgrade, and if not, is there anything i can do to change that.

Thx.

I am currently trying to do the same thing. There are two things you will need to do before you can upgrade, 1. is get a new power supply and 2. is do some case modifications or make sure you get the low profile version of the card. The PCI-E slot is the top one in the E510 mobo, and so theres no place for the fan to exhaust out of, so you'll have to use a dremel tool or something similiar to chop out part of the back of the case to make it fit. Otherwise you can get the low profile version of the card, its more expensive but will fit without case mods.
