Is it possible to use a laptop as Primary monitor

On the laptop? yes. But using the laptop as a monitor for a computer no.

You can use software like Maxivista to have teh laptop act as a secondary monitor to your machine. I've never set up a headless machine to use another machine's monitor as it's primary though, I'm not sure that would work.
