Hi, as I said in the title, is it possible to use an old ex-mining AMD RX 570 that only has a DVI port for 144hz monitor? Most of the case, the setup will only be used for casual gaming (e-sports) and daily browsing and working (word, excel, etc).
Currently, my setup is AMD RX 570 ex-mining with a 60hz monitor. I'm planning to upgrade my monitor to 144hz, but I would like to know if it is possible to use my current graphics card for the 144hz monitor.
I know some of you will suggest upgrading the graphics card. But with current conditions (supply shortage and skyrocketing price), I don't think it feasible to upgrade the graphics card.
Thanks!

Assuming the GPU is in good working order, and no mining BIOS is currently installed, you can use it. I had a 580 that was previously mined, but the seller flashed proper BIOS to it before shipping it to me, along with a video of him doing Furmark to show stability and temps. Works fine for heavy gaming for a few months on my end, and traded it later down the line.

Of course, some miners that sell their GPUs aren't as careful nor thorough, so caveat emptor.
