Is it possible to use built in camera with broken screen

My toshiba laptop has a broken screen and i was wondering if it's possible to use the build in camera without the screen

Hooking up an external monitor to your laptop might work, but you really need to get that screen fixed.

I have a monitor to plug my laptop up to I was just wondering if it's possible for my camera to output to that screen since my original screen is broke
