Is it possible to use checkboard rendering in PC (like in PS4 Pro)

Solution
Right now there is no checkerboard rendering on PC, that would be something that would need to be added by the GPU manufacturers in their drivers, and the game developers would likely also have to provide some support for it. Right now the closest thing some games offer is resolution scaling, where you can drop it below 100% to render at a sub native resolution to improve performance at the expense of a blurrier picture. Nvidia's DSR is a supersampling technology, it works similar to cranking the resolution scaling above 100%, it renders a resolution higher than your displays and downsamples it down to your display resolution to smooth out the jagged edges. It's basically a very GPU intensive form of anti-aliasing.
