hey guys, I was wondering if I can put the coolant from my car's cooling system to my pc liquid cooling system.....would it work the same or is it even possible. Is there any sort of trouble that might be cause by doing so.... ??

btw.....my computer's coolant is green while my car's coolant is PURPLE.....it know its irrelevant but just telling you guys !!

More specs?

Unless you are running a mixed metal loop, use distilled water + PT nuke or kill coils. No need for ethylene glycol if not running a mixed metal loop.

Note that you'll only need about a 25-45% of coolant with water for a mixed loop, and it probably will kill your tubing, so you'll need to replace tubing in a 1/2-1 year or earlier.

I honestly dont get it lolx......maybe i donot have that much info related to the topic. and also what other specs do you need ??

Car coolant is water and antifreeze. Why do you need antifreeze in a PC watercooling loop?

And yea, methinks your short on info.

What is your watercooling loop parts/brand? Need FULL info.

I actually got the answer, but thanks so much guys !!

I have a friend of mine who guided me through all the results and CONS of doing that stupid thing and i got every answer i needed !!

THANSK ALOT !!
