Hey guyz ..
Is it possible to OC the X2 4200 from 2.2GhZ to 3.0 GHZ and if it was possible how can i do that ??

Does any of my posts go through? wow. Like Apache stated it can only be reached by Liquid Nitrogen or Phase Change(maybe). Water cooling might be able to get 2.7GHz -2.8GHz. And it depends on what kind of core you get.

I would recommend this site. It will tell you about how to start overclocking.

The only one who can tell you how much you can oc is you, by speeding things up incrementally untill its unstable and increasing voltage ..........

P.S. Do not skip past pages in that - do it properly. You may not understand stuff at first but it will become clear after you've read a bit futher.

i hope he didnt buy that expecting it to clock that far, not even single core AMDs can get that far easily.

THG got the FX60 and couldnt get it to 3ghz stable on water (took water to get it to 2.8ghz, a small 200mhz boost)
