Is it possible that My computer could have blown up my devices that i was using though my usb ports.

I have 3 devices that WILL NOT CHARGE-not even though Wall chargers now:

I awoke this morning and my blackberry will not charge at all, so i turned it off and now it will not even turn on.

My Ipod touch will not hold a charge even a little bit. In fact it even says device not recognized-and doesnt install the driver..

and my External 500GB Hard Drive has a light that turns on for a second then right back off-but still sounds like its running....

Yes, if the PC was supplying more than 5V on the USB port when you plugged the devices in, and providing the devices were not designed with any over-voltage protection.

is there something i could buy for my USB header on my computer that would limit the amount of power going to my ports-SO THIS DOES NOT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN!
