well, i think the answer is no !
because GTX is out of stock, and high price..
i dont know if it really worth to buy 1060 6gb, we know that rx 3080 is on the way, rtx 2060 .
maybe after month i will regret..

so what should i buy !?
or is it better to wait? if yes, when this gpus is coming.

monitor 1080p 144hz

specs:
i7 8700
16gb
750W

Solution
Well if you can wait, then wait. If not go grab a RX 580 or 570 for under $200 and game for now then when the new GPU's come out and if the performance is worth it then sell your current card and buy the new one.

if you have a 144hz monitor i recommewnd waiting for new RX 3080 cards or the 2060
a 1060 isnt gonna be enough for your monitor, for the rest your ram and psu, cpu seems to be all good

The last generation of Nvidia cards is overpriced, and it is said that Nvidia does that because it has an excess stock of the older generation (which was expected to be sold to crypto miners, before the crypto market crshed).

So, Nvidia needs to sell the older cards before reducing the price of newer cards to reasonable levels.

For that reason it is advisable to wait until the new cards fall in price.
