Is it safe for my ssd to be laying on the bottom of my case?

I just got a new ssd but my case doesnt have a slot for a 2,5'' drive.
Is it safe for it to be laying on the bottom of my case like it is now??

Yes, as long as you don't move/shake your case. If some shock/movement is made to the case, the cable might get "disconnect-connect" and your data might get corrupted. If it is a boot-drive, OS CRASH !!!
