[SOLVED] Is it safe or even real to increase dedicated video memory of GPU through registry edit

Hello guys
My question is that I had seen a lot of video that tell to increase the vram of GPU through regedit and it is even possible or these are fake?
If these are then any lose could happen like more heat output or instability more crashes?
Is it an alternative to overclock it!

The vRAM on a GPU card is a physical resource on the card and can't be changed. A CPU integrated graphics processor used system memory. The best way to change that is through the BIOS.
