Question Is it safe to bottleneck my monitor?

I’m planning to upgrade my PC soon, which includes all of the components and the monitor. I figured that I would upgrade the PC itself, then upgrade my monitor afterward once I have the money. But my current monitor is only 1080p with a 75hz refresh rate, and there would definitely be bottlenecking until I get my new monitor. So I just want to make sure my monitor, or anything else for that matter wouldn’t take damage. I’m assuming that I just have to cap my FPS in games to 75

LOL. monitor bottlenecking? never heard that term used that way before.

No Sir, nothing is gonna blow up. Your GPU will sense automatically (sometimes automation works) what your monitor can handle and won't send it more electricity than it can handle.
