Is it safe to buy used keyboard

Solution
Well... More than computer viruses I'm more concerned on the *actual* viruses it might contain, haha.

Yes, I would imagine you can inject malware in anything that contains memory and is connected through USB, but I don't personally know anything that uses the K70 keyboard at least.

In any case, make sure you get a lot of time *cleaning* the whole keyboard and making sure it's working fully.

Cheers!

On the keyboard? No i doubt it, where are you buying it from? I doubt that keyboard even has the functionality to load a virus on it and have it infect your computer when plugged in via usb. That would not be something I would worry about when buying a used keyboard.

As someone who lives on used parts (my pc is almost entirely comprised of them, bar my PSU and HDD), I can say that used parts are fantastic. However, I would never buy a used keyboard, due to them being covered in germs, literal viruses, dirt, and certainly cheeto dust. If you really want a mech keyboard but cant afford a new K70, Havit have just brought a badass cheap one out which I would recommend, but if not I would much rather new membrane/rubber dome than used mechanical. Hope I helped!
