Hi,
I have a laptop running Windows XP Sp3 for playing older games.
The XP Machine is not connected to a Network.
Is it safe to connect it to my local Network via WiFi but block its Access to the Internet in the router settings in order to stream music from my NAS?
(So the NAS and all my other machines in the Network still have Internet acces, but the XP Machie can onyl communicate with the NAS)

Solution
Intranet and internet are 2 quite different things. As long as the XP machine is clean or the other machines on the network are covered, there's absolutely no worries about anything being in your local intranet. Honestly, even being internet viable won't make a difference unless you actively plan on not having any sort of malware / AV protection.
