Question Is it safe to mount monitor upside down with a mounting being so low?

So is this safe to mount a Samsung lu28e590ds monitor upside down on a VESA mount? How much does it stress the monitor case? It seems sturdy

Why would you think you want to?

Mechanically, you are ok.
But, monitors may depend on more normal orientation for proper airflow which is normally venting out the top.
The reason is that with a normal orientation the display is just too low on this particular stand

What kind of VESA mount did you have in mind?
Can you manage a VESA wall mount?
You can adjust the height and you get more desktop space.
Sorry, fixed the link for the video. Right now I only have this mount as an option, so I used what's available. The problem with this display is that the mounting brackets are located very high, so the monitor stands comically low on it.
 
Looks tippy and unstable to me.
More so when you connect cables to the unit which are mounted high up.
Why not put something under the stand?
I might create a shelf using a 10" plank the width of your desk.
At each end use a 4x4" beam to raise it up.
