[SOLVED] is it safe to OC Ryzen 5950x New to OC

i have seen amd oc master software people on youtube using it i am totally new to oc cpu.
can somebody tell me if it is safe to use the software auto mode to oc and test the speed.
mainly for content creation needs.

I never advocate to Overclock the CPU using third party software.
Use your Bios so as not to corrupt the Bios and to provide tighter control.

There is little overhead without the correct cooling solution. With adequate cooling 5GHz all core can be achieved with the right sample.

AMD oc master software is software made from AMD themself without rebooting you can overclock it on desktop and run trial errors till you can find a sweet spot then note the setting and apply into bios for permanent setting.

In what way is that CPU lacking?

Overclocking, especially on an already high end Ryzen, does not give you much gain. Especially in productivity applications.

It does, however, reduce stability.
