Is it safe to overclock my GPU?

I ant to overclock my GPU for better preformance and I want to check if it's safe
My mobo is Intel 07N90W, my Proc. is Intel Dual Core E5800 @ 3.2 Ghz and I want to make it 4 or 4. something. My gfx card is Radeon HD Series 6450 2GB DDR3, 8 GB Ram, if you need any further info about my system please let me know

i have no idea. if you can find an Intel article on it go by what they say: they don't lie and are often more to date than anyone. but don't OC if you can't afford to buy a new one

i've OC cpu or memory before but you have live by the rules: even with proper cooling OC doesn't mean the chip will boot or if it does the data processing might not be as reliable. as far as reliability i can't imagine you'll find any firm white paper on it.
