Is it safe to plug off usb mouse from the pc if the pc is turned off?

Can i take my mouse off the usb when the pc is shutdown or only when the pc is running?

you can take it out while powered off without any possible problems

If you means unplug the USB mouse from the computer, then you can do it anytime, it won't hurt anything, whether the computer is on or off.

Thank you very much, i only asked this because if i plug off it from the pc when it is on, the PSU cable might come out and turn the pc off.
