I have a wooden box that i used to transport my pc parts in and my monitor was screwed from the vesa mount to the inside of the lid. Now i took off the screen and can't screw it back on. I have my pc parts in boxes in the wooden box. I was wondering if the monitor would way too much to put it flat on top of the pc parts' boxes? I have packing paper to pad them. Its a graphics card, motherboard, and psu. Ive had issues with the psu bursting before when carrying it in my backpack. Would this be a problem? I am putting the wooden box i a suitcase with wheels. Its smaller than it sounds since i have a micro atx motherboard and half height gpu.

Solution
I am a structural engineer.
The answer is Yes. But check for bending.
If it bends, take it off.
