[SOLVED] Is it safe to replace laptop battery with lower Wh one?

My laptop battery died which was 15.4V 70.07 Wh(Nom:4550mAh). Is it safe to replace it with a 15.4V 67.76Wh 4400mAh battery?
 
Solution
Laptop batteries often contain proprietary circuitry for compatible and proper operation.
Best to replace with a genuine oem(not just "compatible") replacement.
Yes, it will cost more, but original will save you a bunch of trouble.

Definitely yes! It has a little less capacity: holding a few minutes less charge.
If you are accustomed to drinking beer in 500ml bottles, you won't get poisoned if you drink a 330ml bottle of beer, right?
