[SOLVED] Is it safe to run a ryzen 7 2700x at 3600 mhz ram speed?

I want to know if it will damage my system if I run my ram at 3600 mhz even though the cpu can only apparently run it at 3000 mhz. The motherboard can run it so that's not an issue, just wanting to make sure I don't kill my system or shorten it's lifespan.

No.
Running ram at whatever speed you can is totally safe, though I really doubt ryzen 2000 can do 3600.
It was hard to hit 3200 even back then.

Sure it can, only early problems with b350/x370 chipset MBs because of wrong memory topography. I had my RAM on this same MB and with 2700x up to 3800MHz. although too high Cl 23 to be of any help so I run it at 3600MHz Cl16 just as easy and reliably as now with 3700x.
