Is it safe to run at 80% of PSU capacity?

Hello, pcpartpicker tells me my system will draw 506W after some new additions I'm making, and my existing PSU is a Corsair CX600M V2 CX 600W. So I'm going to be running at 84% with this setup. Is that cutting it too close, or is 84% okay with this PSU?

Solution
The CMPSU-600CX V2 has insufficient +12 Volt continuous current capacity for two GeForce GTX 970 in 2-way SLI mode.

It will most likely have an insufficient number of PCI Express supplementary power connectors required for two cards.

i5-4690K @ 3.5 (not OC at all), two GTX 970 in SLI, 16 GB at 1600, Samsung 850 EVO 250MB SSD, WD blue 1TB HDD.

Mobo Asus Z97-A

The power increment will be coming from adding the second GTX 970 and the SSD.

What, so you think this is cutting it kind of close?

Actually I'd be okay on the connectors, but I wasn't aware there could be an issue with the 12 Volt continuous current capacity (as well as the maximum wattage). Can you recommend a PSU that would definitely be strong enough (and hopefully not crazy expensive). Thanks so much for your help!

Hey, thanks so much, this looks like a really great unit, I totally see now what you were saying about the +12V amps. Unfortunately, I'm having a bit of trouble finding this in my neck of woods... What do you think about Fractal Design PSUs? They have an 800W one that looks to me like it would do the job:

This one I could get for 100€. The reviewers seemed to like it pretty well, except for 1) the price that used to be more like $200 and 2) maybe not ideal of OC, but I'm not really planning on doing it. I guess the reason I'm kind of focusing on this one is that it has pretty good specs for kind of not very much money. Thoughts?

Yes. That's a decent PSU. The only real deficiency is its shorter than allowed hold-up time.
