Is it safe to run my gpu fans at 35 - 40% all the time ?.

Just wondering if I'm decreasing the lifespan of my fans dramatically by doing it.

Not really. The new cards do a pretty good job of coming on when needed. If you are having thermal issues then I would suggest maybe increase case air flow over increasing GPU fan speed. GPU fans are noisy.

I would only turn them up when gaming and the gpu at full load because my GPU gose up to 90 while gaming and with the fans out 50-60 during gaming my temp gose less. But there is no point off running your gpu fans at 35-40% all the time use it when your gpu gets hot like gaming and such!
