Hey everyone!
Just as the title says (maybe the terms are wrong) im curious if it's safe to use nvidia panel to underclock a 144Hz monitor to 120Hz.
My rig is not good enough to run some games at a good enough, consistent performance to use the 144Hz but can mostly deal with 120Hz and so i tought maybe it'll be better to not get a taste of that 144Hz (since i don't know yet how big is the visual difference) until i upgrade my PC aswell.
And since my current monitor is dying i wanted to buy a good one (since i use pc for alot of things from watching stuff, to work, university, gaming).
So what do you guys thik? Is it safe? Will it have any benefits ? Or it's just plain stupid and i should just limit the FPS in game?
