is it safe to undervolt by lowering LLC?

Solution
You may be good to start at defaults to ensure you have no issues them very slowly drop a bit each day to test it. Every cpu is different ant some will require less voltage than others.

As long as you test to ensure every load state is stable it should not be an issue. This is important because if your idle is too low, your system will has a stability test then crash when the system is under low load(for example with too low, I would sometimes blue screen when skipping a song, but games never crashed. a tiny increase fixed it).

I have done this in the past and my media center pc(don't let it being a media pc fool you, it is also my primary machine so it has lots of use on it) has been offset undervolted for 7 years 24/7

Even crashing from too little voltage should not cause actual hardware issues(but can corrupt data so test fully before you start using the system for important things). You may also be able to lower memory voltage in a similar manner(I had my old XMS3 1.65v memory running at 1.35(it was too fast for the board anyway). My newer gskill is not as forgiving).
