Is it safe to uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technology ?

Few hours ago I had installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology but now want to uninstall it.. People say you might see some improvement but for me nothing 🙁 So, just want to remove it. But is it safe ? I mean if I uninstall it then will my hard disks and SSD continue to work as earlier (That time when I didn't installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology) ?

My PC Specs -

CPU - i5-4690K
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H
Storage - Samsung 850 EVO 120GB + WD 500GB HDD + Seagate 500GB HDD (in AHCI mode)
OS - Windows 8.1 Pro

It's not really needed. You can always install it again if it doesn't seem to enhance your PC.

Is it affecting you in any way?
You can disable it from running at startup. Open start menu > msconfig > startup tab > remove check besides it.
If that doesn't cause any problems for a while, u can probably safely uninstall it.
