Is it safe to use a fan splitter cable?

My mother board (Asus H97I - PLUS) only has 3 fan slots while my case has 3 fans + the CPU fan

My case fans are Segotep fans (DC 12V 0.18A)

Can I connect two of these into one slot using a splitter?

My motherboard manual says the CPU_FAN slot supports up to 1A (12W) but doesn't mention anything about the CHA_FAN slots.

Thanks

Most MoBo fan headers are rated for 1A at 12V, so using that fan Y-splitter is completely safe.

2x of your case fans, combined consume 0.36A at 12V which doesn't come close to the max power rating MoBo fan header can sustain.
