I just received the very first microfiber cloth I have ever bought (via online) and on the packet, it says that it's great to use for dry dusting because the static charge will attract the dust. Now I know that static charge is bad for computers. But I was planning on using it to clean the case and the exterior cables and the desk it sits on along with the monitor, speakers, router, and UPS. Since I wasn't aware that microfiber gives off static charge I was wondering if it will harm my PC and the other stuff that I mentioned? An article on PCWorld.com says you can use microfiber but they don't go into many details. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
