Question Is it safe to use this cracked NVME?

Hello everyone.

I acquired a cracked Western Digital Black 500GB SN770 NVME SSD. It has 2 small cracks. I want to know if it's safe to use it.
Someone please tell me if something important might be damaged or the only thing damaged is useless material.

Plug it in and see.

Will it last for years? Maybe, maybe not.
As with any storage drive, keep good backups.

By saying safe, I mean that it will not damage my motherboard or other components.

Obtained the drive from a small local market.

All anyone can say is "probably safe".
But, it might short out the M.2 port you connect it to.

There is no way to know for certain.
