is it safe to use two different ram speeds?

Hello, I have Adata ram with different speed 1333Mhz and 1666Mhz in the two slots. I get blue screen when im playing games. I ran a memory diagnostic and it says hardware problem detected. Should i change my ram? Thanks

Your system should down clock the speed to match the slowest stick and you can force it to do so in the BIOS.
It is possible that both sticks are not compatible with each other and so don't play nice. Try to get another stick that matches either of them in speed.

should i get the same brand?

Should not be necessary, but if you can, then yes.
I've mixed plenty of ram sticks of different brands with no hassle at all.

As long as you have them try 1333 9-9-9-26 2T and the DRAM voltage at 1.57

Try going into BIOS and setting manually to the above mentioned settings
