Question Is it Safe to write HUGE files on SD card continuously?

is it safe to write HUGE files on sd card in one go? I mean without breaking up the files into smaller ones & time gaps (like giving it a break). I copied some files on the sd card which totalled 27GB and it took 49 minutes. That is, the card was being written on for continuous 49 minutes, is it safe or does it harm the SD card in any way?

Please guide me in this regard I'm worried.

"safe" = when it may or may not die.

If your workload needs to do that, then do it.
When/if the SD card dies, replace.

This morning, I wrote 22GB to the SD card in my camera. 1100+ pics.
The same128GB SD card that has been in use for over a year.

I was worried because i noticed that towards the end of copying/writing the 27gb the write speed was gradually decreasing.

It's an SD card. It's all voltages and silicon. There's no moving parts that require rest, there's nothing what might run dry of grease, there's absolutely no difference to it between a 27Gb file, 27 1Gb files and a 2Kb file.
