Is it safe using pc with no case for a while?

Okay so i bought the wrong motherboard, so im broke at the moment, and i have to order another motherboard... is it a good idea to use the pc without any case for a while? It doesnt have any gpu, im gonna use the integrated graphics... its intel i5-8400

I've done it. No tech issues really, just a lack of gushing winds from case fans. And the risk of dropping something on parts.

Turn it on and leave it on.
You don't want to poke around in there too often, you might short the wrong thing.
Can you get a temporary switch from an old case?

The main problem for PCs without case is dust...and perhaps there is someone likes to touch/poke stuffs with bare hands without thinking.
There is no big technical consequences.
I did it too.
Just do not make the PC caseless for too long.
