Hi there.

I love to play RPG but never tried Morrowind.
I heard about it a lot and red some reviews and understand it is a good
game.
My most favorite game is Baldur's gate(all 4). enjoyed Diablo series. For
some reason maybe because turn based game play I didn't care for wizardly 8.
Now, I am interested in Elder Scrolls game of the year edition. Do you think
I will enjoy Morrowind 3 on PC?

I thought all 3 of them plus quite a few others were all fun to play...
Daggerfall the game prior to Morrowind had an almost endless supply of
dungeons to explore, though the game was a bit buggy, however inspite of
its bugs I loved the game anyway!

If you like having the freedom to do pretty well whatever you want to
do, including ignoring the main game quest and Even being able to kill 1
or 2 gods, then you'll LOVE playing Morrowind! If you love being told
what to do every step of way whenever you play a game, or Don't have
much free time, then you'll HATE Morrowind!

In Morrowind your character can become an extension of your personality
at the time, IF they survive and you're willing to spend ALL your Free
Time living the life of your character! <L> Right after you finish
creating your character, they are free to ignore the main quest and to
go where ever they want, though low level characters might not survive a
trip through some of the wilder areas of Morrowind.

In Morrowind, characters can (if they want) learn spells, make custom
spells, create their own potions, create or pay someone to create custom
Enchanted items. They can learn to steal, kill, do Great Deeds or Evil,
and/or with enough time, luck and desire on your part, become whatever
you want them to...

Some of the Factions in the game that your character can join include 3
Great Houses, 3 Vampire Clans (That's Right, VAMPIRE Clans), the
Ashlanders, numerious Guilds such as the Fighters, Mage & Thief guilds,
as well as 2 different Religious groups and the Imperial Legion. Plus a
few others you'll discover as your character travels throughout the land
of Morrowind... Keep in mind that your character can join almost ALL
the factions if they want, with the exception of the Great Houses and
the Vampire Clans which allow your character to join just one of each
(though there are mods you can download that will allow your character
to join all 3 Great Houses).

There may not be countless places to explore, however there are enough
different places/locations in Morrowind that that I doubt that your
character will be able to find/visit all of them in less than a month of
Real Life game play! Keep in mind that not all of the places with Great
Treasure are on Dry Land (Hint, Hint)! <L>

Also, while there are HUGE numbers of mods you can download and install,
I would recommend that people play the game the FIRST time through
without using any mods that make more than minor changes to the game...
And while it's a good idea for most characters to more or less follow
the main game quest, it's also a good idea for them to join various
factions, complete numerous other side quests, and do quite a bit of
random exploring while they're at it. All of which should make the game
more enjoyable than simply wandering around the countryside looking for
something/someone to kill. ^_^

Finely once you THINK you've seen/done everything there is to do in the
game, you can download and install countless mods that can modify almost
every aspect of the game hopefully making the game infinately
playable... There are mods that expand on the games Vampire Theme,
create new Starting Races, Factions, Quests, Buildings, Items, Armor &
Weapons, some enchanted and some just ordinary. Some mods add new land
masses for your character to explore, and there are other mods that
change the behavior/attributes of various Existing Creatures, Plants,
Items and NPC's in the game! Since new mods are created and updated
constantly, I would suggest that you check back here looking for mod
suggestions and websites when you've got a better idea what you'd like
to try next...

For your info, I've created at least 9 or 10 different characters that
have all completed the games main quest before being eventually retired
so that I could start a new game with a new character and in some cases,
new mods (though most mods can be used with existing saved games).

Fast but not least, Good Luck! Based on your prior favorite games, I
have little doubt that Morrowind will quickly become your New Favorite
Game! ^_^

That's my 2¢,

FTA
