Discussion Is it the game problem or my gpu problem?!!

Guys help me pls !! This happened to me (my screen fills up with black square)when i was playing far cry 6 ! Is it from gpu or the game far cry 6 ?! My system spec is :
i5 12400
Rx 6700xt netro+
16 gig Ram 3600 hz
B660e pro MSI
800 w gold superflower
And my hdmi is not version 2.1 it is an old hdmi used on my tv from over 10 years ago !

So if I read that correctly, you got artifacting (black scares flickering over the screen? That is most of the time a VRAM issue. How old is that GPU, and did you buy it new or used?

Yes but it only happens once for some second only in this game but it did and i think it is for vram ! I bought the gpu used and probably mined gpu recently! i tested with furmark and it was ok (gpu temp, gpu score ....)

Can you get your money back and return the card? I mean, once doesn't have to mean anything, but with a suspected mining card, that is a different story in my eyes. It's very likely that the issue will intensify over time, so better get rid of it while you still can imho.

I don't think that it's the game because I've played Far Cry 6 with three different cards:

Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Nitro OC+
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC-III
ATi Radeon RX 6800 XT

The game played just fine with all of them (with different settings of course).
