So hello from me again,

I have that old Sandy,it's working on 4,5,it's stable for now.But maybe I'll go for 1080,and it's aroud 15% or more faster that 980 ti .So I'm little uneasy about CPU bottleneck.I'm playing on 1080x1920(I'll go for bigger when i get the new Nvidia's flagman, maybe 27).Also I can go with 2600k(Is it worth?)I can go also for a 6700,but I don't know is it again wroth.
My Pc is :

Asus P8P67 Evo M
2500k,4,5
Noctua NH D-14
Corsair CX 750
Some old Adata ram,8 gb ,1333mhz
SSD Samsung evo 250 gb
Old but gold WD black 1 tb
and Tri-x 290x
The case is Phantom 410 :D

If i stay that one,I'll get some faster ram (maximal for my mobo)

BTW I'm sure that I can push that over 4,5 , but It will be little harder ,because that mobo doesn't have vcore voltage.Maybe if i preflash the bios?

And from what I read 4,5 on Sandy== 3,5 on Skylake...

if you are looking at upgrading monitor sizes then upgrading your R9 290x is going to be more help than upgrading your CPU, get the R9 390x if you want to go 1440P

no need to change any of your hardware to play at 1080p the R9 290x is fine for all games at 1080p at least I cant play everything at ultra with my 290x and an I5-6600k, I honestly don't see the point in going for an I7 for what I do. I only really play games and music at the same time so there is no need for the 8 threads for me as I wouldn't make use of them. do you stream while gaming is that why you need the i7?
