Hello,
I recently bought a brand new 1TB drive to install my OS on and it was extremely unstable and froze all the time, requiring a few re-installs.
Some tests showed the HDD had significant problems.
It eventually BSOD after I used the windows hard drive error checker, it did detect problems and fix some but stalled and from then on couldn't boot up.
I've never had any problems like this before with smaller HDDs.
My friend told me that the bigger the HDD, the more platters it has and more moving parts which means higher chance of failure, is this true? In this case, should I buy a small drive to install my OS on?
