Hey all !!! I have something unusual going on can't get it. Maybe I'm getting old. I've never seen this kind of thing before.
Scandisk microsd hc chip. Used in car for MP3's with a USB adapter. 2 different adapters. standard stuff. The chip failed after a short time. Maybe 6 weeks. Put it in PC and could not format. 8gb out the window. 1gb also did not work.
Bought a new one on sale at Walmart same thing. Tried my hub ...no help. plugged directly into Mobo USB slot.,..NADA, Can't format..Can't copy to it machine seems to be in a wait state when trying to get this done. I also notice my CD/dvd player disappears from explorer when the CD/DVD is ejected.
Is it the Mobo or the Win7 installation??
I am beginning to think the MOBO is beginning to fail. I don't want to do anything drastic unless I have to. I did reinstall win7 as a last resort. after getting new downloads from AMD installed.
