Is it wise/bad to run a GPU that your current OS has no supported Drivers for?

just as the subject says.

To elaborate though, i have a new PC with W10 on it and my old PC has W7, i want to remove the GPU i installed and move it over to my new W10 PC, only problem is that the GPU i have doesnt have any supported drivers for W10.

I know that the GPU would install and run but im not sure if running it without the proper Drivers is Wise/bad.

Solution
it has to be a very very old gpu not to have windows drivers for it. a lot of time windows will have tested drivers that it will download after it boots the first time for older hardware. both nvidia and amd make drivers for there old hardware. also use windows 7 drivers in 10 without any issues.
