[SOLVED] Is it worth building i7 8086k + GTX 1080 TI in 2020?

Hey! I've been wanting to build a PC for a while and i'm wondering how many years would i be able to play games on this PC without having to upgrade anything.
The specs:

CPU: I7 8086k
GPU: GTX 1080 TI
Cooler: Corsair H150i
Motherboard: ROG Strix z370-E Gaming
Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x8 GB 3200mhz
PSU: Corsair RM850
Case: NZXT H710

Impossible to predict and also depends heavily on your expectations. However it is a good strong gaming system for 1080p/1440p 144Hz gaming.

It’s a good build for that. However depending on the games you play, the settings you are willing to compromise on and the FPS you want the answer will be different. Also 1 person may upgrade the gpu when the next generation comes out for the best game settings, someone else may be happy to leave it 4 years.
