Is it worth for me to sell my i5 4670k and buy i7 4770k for gaming?

Read the title and tell me if it is worth to do it.I have read so much opinion and facts but I didnt understand if it is worth,I really consider to do it.Please dont look on the money and answer me by refering only to gaming and fps in the newest games.
I have 16 gb Ram and gigabyte gtx 970 g1.

No it is not worth it at the moment.

But besides that it matters on your graphics card. In a very low amount of games it can make use of the extra threads but if your graphics card isn't powerful enough it still won't make a difference. Still not worth it either way.

Wait a sec i dont understand your question. Is your question the pros and cons of getting a 4770k or a 4670k? Or like you have 2 systems and u want 2 cpus.

Not needed at all with that GPU. Maybe if you had like GTX 970 SLI it would be useful in some games. Like Battlefield 4 it would give you a boost (Not many more games than that).

Keep that i5-4670k. It's a very good combo with the GTX 970.

Ah ok, if you will be mostly gaming there is no need to upgrade. If you will do programs
That use more threads for example video rendering, editing, live streaming recording, stuff like that upgrading will definitly help.
